- Who is Ole South Roofing & Construction?
- A family-owned roofing and construction company — a licensed, insured, veteran-owned South Carolina LLC. Owned by Brian Jolly, a West Columbia native and Army veteran. Lead contractor George Boulware has been building and remodeling South Carolina homes for over fifty years.
- Where is Ole South?
- We are based in Pelion, SC 29123 and serve Lexington, Columbia, and the Midlands — Lexington and Richland counties, including West Columbia, Cayce, Irmo, Chapin, Gilbert, Blythewood, Pelion, and Swansea — with select projects in Aiken and Kershaw counties. Call (803) 265-5645 to set a visit.
- What does Ole South do?
- Roof replacement, repair, storm-damage assessment, and emergency roofing, in architectural shingles or metal, plus interior remodeling, exterior remodeling, painting, and construction.
- What are your hours and phone?
- Monday–Saturday 7:00 AM–5:00 PM. (803) 265-5645. Emergency roofing after hours uses that number. We answer within one business day. Email is wbrianjolly@olesouthrc.com.
- Will you quote a price over the phone?
- Every house is different, so we look in person first. Then you get a free written estimate: scope, materials, and price on paper.
- Do you handle permits and insurance claims?
- On full roof replacements in Lexington and Richland counties, we pull the permits. On storm claims we assess and document the damage and work with your claim. We will never waive your deductible, because that is insurance fraud in South Carolina.
- How long do shingle and metal roofs last?
- Architectural shingles typically run 25–30 years, with 130-mph wind-rated options. Metal, standing seam or metal shingles, typically runs 40–60 years. Those are lifespans, not a warranty term published on this site.
- How long do kitchens and baths take?
- Baths typically 2–4 weeks. Kitchens typically 4–8 weeks. Most roof replacements take 1–2 days, up to 3 if complex.
- How does payment work?
- The price is the free written estimate after we see the house. If you need to talk about how you will pay, ask at the visit.
- What is your license number?
- We are a licensed, insured South Carolina LLC. Ask for the number when we visit, and check it with the state.
- Are you affiliated with Ole South in Tennessee?
- No. Ole South Properties is a Tennessee home builder. We are Ole South Roofing & Construction in Pelion, South Carolina.
