About
A family company in Pelion, not a franchise
Ole South is owned by Brian Jolly, a West Columbia native and Army veteran. George Boulware, our lead contractor, has been building and remodeling South Carolina homes for over fifty years.
Ole South Roofing & Construction is a Pelion, South Carolina roofing and construction company. We are not affiliated with Ole South Properties, the home builder in Tennessee.
Brian spent nearly six years in the U.S. Army keeping OH-58D Kiowa Warrior helicopters flying — a 15S repairer — with time in Kosovo, Afghanistan, Kuwait, and Iraq. He later worked as an A&P mechanic and is also a reliability technician at Michelin in Lexington. He still answers for this company. His son Lachlan answers the calls, rides along on estimates, and is studying building construction at Midlands Technical College, learning the trade under George.
We are a licensed South Carolina contractor, fully insured, and registered as an SC LLC. The license number is not on this website. Ask when we are at the house. We were raised to do the work as unto the Lord — which mostly means it gets done right whether anyone is watching or not.
We are based in Pelion, SC 29123. We do not publish a street address. Hours are Monday through Saturday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with emergency roofing after hours at (803) 265-5645. We answer within one business day. Email is wbrianjolly@olesouthrc.com.
