Ole South Roofing & Construction is a South Carolina LLC headquartered in Pelion, SC, serving homeowners throughout Lexington County, Richland County, and select areas of Aiken and Kershaw Counties.
Ole South Roofing & Construction was built on a straightforward conviction: that homeowners in the Midlands of South Carolina deserve a contractor who is skilled, accountable, and genuinely part of the community they serve.
We are not a franchise. We are not a national company with a local phone number. We are a family business, founded in Lexington County, operated by people whose names and reputations live here alongside yours.

The People Behind the Work
Brian Jolly

Brian Jolly is a West Columbia native and United States Army veteran who served as a Sergeant with an honorable discharge after nearly six years of active duty. His military occupational specialty was 15S — OH-58D Kiowa Warrior Helicopter Repairer — a discipline that demands precision, zero-defect execution, and the kind of accountability that comes from working on aircraft that carry people into harm's way. He deployed to Kosovo, Afghanistan, Kuwait, and Iraq.
After leaving the Army, Brian continued serving in high-consequence aviation environments as a licensed Airframe and Powerplant mechanic. He worked as an A&P mechanic for Omniflight Helicopters, supporting air ambulance operations where mechanical reliability is the difference between life and death. He subsequently supported United States government interests internationally as an A&P mechanic for BlackWater Aviation, a subdivision of BlackWater Worldwide.
Brian then transitioned to the manufacturing sector, bringing the same precision and reliability standards to his role as a multi-craft industrial reliability technician with Michelin North America in Lexington, SC — one of the most demanding precision manufacturing environments in the world. He continues in that role today, building Ole South Roofing & Construction alongside it with the same deliberate, no-shortcuts approach that has defined every stage of his career. Brian founded Ole South with a long view. This is a company being built to last — to serve the Midlands community well and to be handed to the next generation of his family with its reputation intact. A man who maintained military helicopters in combat zones, kept air ambulances flight-ready, and meets Michelin's reliability standards daily does not accept substandard work. That standard is the foundation of every project Ole South takes on.

George Boulware has been building and remodeling homes in South Carolina for over 50 years. That is not a marketing figure — it represents five decades of hands-on experience with how homes in this region are constructed, how our climate affects building materials over time, and how to solve the problems that surface when you open a wall or pull a roof that has been in place for twenty years.
George's experience is the operational foundation of Ole South. When he walks a job site, he brings a depth of local construction knowledge that no franchise manual or corporate training program can replicate. Homeowners in Lexington and Richland Counties benefit directly from that knowledge on every project we undertake.

Ole South is being built with intention. Lachlan Jolly, Brian's youngest son, is already active in the business — handling customer calls, accompanying estimates, and learning the trade from the ground up under George Boulware's direct guidance. He is currently enrolled in the Building Construction program at Midlands Technical College and is on a defined path to obtain his South Carolina General Contractor's license upon eligibility at 18.
Lachlan does not represent a distant future for this company. He represents its direction right now — a young man being formed by one of South Carolina's most experienced contractors, pursuing formal credentials alongside practical experience, and preparing to lead a business his family built with their own hands.

Our primary service area is Lexington County and Richland County, South Carolina, including the communities of Lexington, Columbia, West Columbia, Cayce, Irmo, Chapin, Gilbert, Blythewood, Pelion, and Swansea. We also take select projects in Aiken and Kershaw Counties when the scope and schedule are the right fit.
Our Services
We provide roofing replacement and repair, exterior remodeling, interior remodeling, and professional painting services throughout the Midlands. Each service is available individually — you do not need to hire us for a full renovation to receive quality work on one component of your home.
