Irmo, SC
Roofing and remodeling in Irmo, SC
Irmo is in the Dutch Fork, northwest of Columbia, where Lexington and Richland counties meet and Lake Murray is to the west. We come from Pelion. We don’t keep a second office there.

Irmo straddles the two counties we name, which is why the town record on this site says Lexington and Richland counties instead of picking one. Dutch Fork is the local name for this side of Columbia. Lake Murray is west. Chapin is farther up the lake. Harbison is part of how people describe the area. I-26 runs through it. From Pelion it is a drive north, past Lexington, on the way toward the lake. It is closer than Blythewood and farther than West Columbia.
A full roof replacement in either county gets a permit we pull. Say which side of the line the house is on when you call, and we will confirm it on the visit. The roof itself is priced the same way everywhere: we look, then the estimate is written. Architectural shingles or metal. Most replacements take 1–2 days, up to 3 if the roof is complex. Wind off the more open lake side is a reason the 130-mph shingle comes up. It is not a decision we make from a map.
Interior work in Irmo — a kitchen, a bath, floors in hardwood, LVP, or tile — is the same company as the roof. Baths typically run 2–4 weeks. Kitchens typically run 4–8. Humidity in a closed bath is a Midlands fact, lake or not. We look at the room before we write the scope. Siding, when it is fiber cement we are recommending, and gutters can ride along with a roof if the outside of the house needs it.
The visit starts with a call to Pelion, (803) 265-5645. Monday through Saturday, 7 to 5. We answer within one business day. Brian Jolly owns Ole South. George Boulware leads the construction. Your insurance deductible, if a storm is involved, stays yours.
Ole South Roofing & Construction is a Pelion, South Carolina roofing and construction company. We are not affiliated with Ole South Properties, the home builder in Tennessee. The other towns on the list are on the service-area page.
