Siding and trim

We replace and repair siding and the trim around it. Fiber cement is the material we recommend. The scope and the price are written after we see the walls, not from a driveway photo.

New pressure-treated stairs and rail up to a white nine-lite door, new white siding around it
New siding, stairs, and a nine-lite door.

Siding fails at the same places a roof does: water at the openings, soft wood at the bottom, trim that was caulked instead of fixed. We treat it as its own trade and, when the roof is coming off anyway, as part of that job. The photograph here is new white siding around a nine-lite door, with new stairs — our crew’s picture.

Fiber cement is what we recommend when we talk siding. We do not publish a brand certification or a price per square. Paint on new siding can be part of the same scope or a separate painting visit. Windows and exterior doors, if the openings are part of the problem, are on their own page.

Questions

What siding do you recommend?
Fiber cement. What goes on your house is named on the written estimate.
Do you only do siding with a roof?
No. Siding can be its own job or part of a roof or a larger renovation.
Do you paint the new siding?
Painting can be in the same scope or its own visit. Interior and exterior painting is a trade we do.
Is there a siding price list?
No. We look first, then the estimate is written.
