Decks, porches, and exterior stairs
We build and rebuild decks, porches, and exterior stairs. The photograph on this page is a pressure-treated deck beside a pool, from our own work. The price is written after we see the yard and the house.
A deck is structure, not furniture. We look at how it ties to the house, what the posts are sitting on, and whether the old one should be repaired or taken down. Porches and exterior stairs are the same visit when they are part of the same entry. We don’t publish a cost per square foot, a wood-versus-composite price, or a brand we are certified by.
The job can stand alone or land in the same estimate as siding or a roof. Lead contractor George Boulware has been building and remodeling South Carolina homes for over fifty years. That is his career, not a founding date for the company.

- Wood or composite?
- We do not publish a default product or a price gap. The material is named on the written estimate after we see the job.
- Can you repair a deck instead of replacing it?
- Sometimes. We say which, after we look. We don’t decide that from a photo.
- Do you pull a permit for a deck?
- If the job requires one, it belongs in the written scope. We do not publish a blanket permit claim for every deck the way we do for full roof replacements in Lexington and Richland counties.
Monday–Saturday 7:00 AM–5:00 PM. We answer within one business day. Emergency roofing after hours uses the same number.
